Thank goodness I found a healthy (and FIX-approved) treat or I wouldn’t survive! I have such a sweet tooth! To stick to a healthy lifestyle, you don’t need to deprive yourself, you just need to find healthier substitutes for those indulgences. I never get sick of this treat. This has also become a staple for my kids before or after sports practices or games. Love that they think it’s a treat when I giving them a good does of protein and vitamins and minerals! Enjoy!
3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
1-2 tsp of natural peanut butter (or PB2)
Drizzle of raw honey
Generous sprinkle of cinnamon
Mix all together and enjoy! You can eat this on it’s own or dip apple slices in it. Some natural granola is amazing in it too! You can also add a tablespoon of chopped peanuts or a tsp of chocolate chips to make it a treat.
This simple dish is a great afternoon or after dinner snack that keeps me from eating handfuls of cereal or going for a bowl of ice cream!
21 Day Fix: 1 red/protein, 1-2 tsp
(and if you add the optional nuts count an orange, granola is a yellow, and adding the chocolate chips like in the pic below will count as a yellow and make this a treat so only a couple times a week is ok)
